Common Questions
Does listing on the leaderboard share my full screenplay?
No. Only your title, writer name (or pen name), genre, budget tier, logline, and Quilty Score are displayed. Your full screenplay text is never shared or exposed on the leaderboard.
What is the optioning pool?
The optioning pool is a separate, voluntary step beyond the leaderboard. When you submit, you consent to share your public analysis report and contact information with vetted industry partners who may want to discuss optioning your script.
Can I remove my screenplay at any time?
Yes. You can leave the Discovery Leaderboard and withdraw your optioning consent at any time from your screenplay's settings panel. Removal is immediate.
Does Quilty take a cut of any deals?
No. Quilty acts solely as a facilitator. We connect writers and partners — all negotiations, terms, and agreements happen directly between you and the interested party.
What score do I need to join?
You need a completed Quilty Score analysis to opt in. There's no minimum score threshold — the leaderboard ranks all opted-in screenplays, and partners can filter by their own criteria.
Who are the industry partners?
Partners include production companies, development executives, literary managers, and independent producers. All partners are vetted before gaining access to the optioning queue.
